History of the Golden Bridge Da Nang

The Golden Bridge is a 150-meter-long and 5-meter-wide pedestrian bridge at Ba Na Hills resort near Da Nang, Vietnam. Da Nang is one of the major cities in Vietnam apart from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city.

The Golden Bridge connects the Hoi An cable car station on the hills to the Ba Na amusement park nearby. This bridge was built so that people/tourists don’t have to walk down the steep hill to reach the amusement park.

The Golden Bridge’s construction was undertaken by the TA Landscape Architecture Company, particularly by the company’s founder and chief engineer, Vu Viet Anh in July 2017 and was completed in April 2018 and was open to the public in June 2018.

The Golden Hand Bridge appears to be unearthed by two giant palms. The gigantic hands were built to show visitors that Vietnam is a rich and prosperous country and that gold was being unearthed in Vietnam. The gigantic hands appear as though they are made of stone but in reality, they are made of fiberglass and wire mesh.
