Grimace: You share a Best Friend – Your Best Friend is also this Snapchatter’s Best Friend.
Smile: One of your Best Friends – This is a Snapchatter you send a lot of Snaps to (but isn’t your Best Friend).
Sunglasses: You share a Close Friend – One of your Best Friends is also one of this Snapchatter’s Best Friends.

Emojis displayed next to stories are to verify that they are made by an official account. This is obviously reserved for celebrities and huge public figures to avoid getting impersonated by somebody else.
The emojis for verified account are customized for each individual using them and can be random from something as menial as a crown???? to a slice of pizza????. It doesn’t really matter what kind of emoji is displayed alongside their name but if there’s one then you can be sure that account belongs to the actual person and not some impostor. For the time being this official emojis are only accessible by a small group of individuals so not all of the official account have these.

It’s a really nice way to get a perspective about the current conversations. Snapchat gives you the chance and opportunities to earn more trophies by exploring snapchat. If you reach a high enough Snapchat score or send a certain number of stories from Discover, you might earn a trophy.
